We have provided our key policies below because we want you to have all the information you need, prior to choosing your pet sitter, because we know your pet is family. We have these policies in place to ensure the safety of each and every pet we care for. These policies are also in place so that you receive the same level of personal in-home pet care each and every time you book with us!

If the Client(s) must cancel any service they must contact Four Paws Family Pet Sitting directly. Four Paws Family Pet Sitting reserves the right to charge the Client 100% of the total fees if the Client cancels with less than 24 hours prior to any scheduled service. If the Client cancels any service two weeks prior to the scheduled service, they will receive their 20% deposit back in full. If the Client cancels any service less than two weeks prior to the scheduled service the Client will NOT receive their deposit back.
Client agrees to email Four Paws Family Pet Sitting for any and all changes needed to be made to an existing service booked. Four Paws Family Pet Sitting shall accept or deny the change(s) within 48 hours of receiving the email. All changes, will take effect in the client portal and the Client will be able to access them at any time.
There will be no refunds for early returns from vacations. Four Paws Family Pet Sitting will be as flexible as possible based on unforeseen circumstances (family emergency, inclement weather, etc.).
In an effort to prevent the transmission of disease, Four Paws Family Pet Sitting require all pets to be current on vaccinations and that the appropriate documentation is provided through the online client portal prior to any services being accepted. If a Client does not keep their pet(s) records current Four Paws Family Pet Sitting reserves the right to refuse any and all services booked by the Client until the records are updated and provided in the Client portal.
Dog vaccinations required are: Rabies, DHPP (Distemper/Parvo) and Bordetella.
Cat vaccinations required are: Rabies, and FVRCP.
If the Client pet(s) is found to have fleas/ticks, the Client gives permission for Four Paws Family Pet Sitting to provide the appropriate medicated treatment and to pay for any treatments as well as any additional services that maybe required.
Client(s) agree to place all booking requests through the Four Paws Family Pet Sitting online booking platform. Any requests not made through this online booking portal will not be accepted.
All bookings are a first come first serve basis. No bookings will be reserved and confirmed on the schedule without a 20% deposit made by the Client(s) in their client portal.
Client understands that a 20% deposit of the total payment for all services is required within 48 hours after Four Paws Family Pet Sitting accepts a booking request. If the 20% deposit is not received during this allocated time frame, the booking request will be cancelled. Client acknowledges that the remaining balance of any and all services is due immediately following the completion of the service by Four Paws Family Pet Sitting.
Holidays include New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. During holidays, there will be a $10 add on fee to all services. Please book as far in advance as possible.

House Sitting: The Client agrees to the charge of an additional night of house sitting if they require the Pet Sitter to be in their home after 3:00pm on the scheduled departure day.
